A new roof and brighter rooms in one project
The Challenge
The roof on this Bloomington, MN home was due for replacement, and its two skylights had aged along with it. Replacing skylights during a reroof is the right time to do it, so the homeowner bundled both into one project.
What We Did
- Tore off the old roof and installed Malarkey Vista architectural shingles in Antique Brown
- Replaced both skylights with new Velux units
- Custom-fabricated the chimney flashing for a long-term watertight fit
- Built a valley saddle for extra waterproofing where rooflines meet
- Protected the home and landscaping through tear-off
The Result
